little light of mine

Like nothing I’ve ever seen
with one glance, just one.
inspiration I could never dream
A body with more than I’ve ever seen, with more than I could ever know, with more than I have ever felt.
One apart. And one together. With or without.
I have everything and nothing
but ten million reasons to remain.
doomed from the beginning everything became a little lovelier
a balanced little life
the little gods would be so jealous
Of our little mortal little love
Creating nothing from their everything
They hear the art of prayers, symphonies in despair, poetry in tears.
Eternity intertwined in mortality.
The muse whispering in the ear of the artist,
The spirit of creation boiling into reality.
no one hears her voice penetrating universes
a music that seeps through my pores.
overcoming space and time
A song of trips to the wondrous shores.
